Vegan Turmeric Latte Recipe:
Ingredients:
- 2 cups oat milk or milk alternative (almond, soy, rice)
- 1 tsp freshly grated turmeric or turmeric powder
- ½ tsp ground cinnamon
- ½ tsp freshly grated ginger or ginger powder
- ½ tsp agave or maple syrup if desired (the oat milk already tastes sweet, so I find I don’t need extra sweetener)
Directions:
Pour the milk into a saucepan and cook over high heat until it’s hot, but don’t bring it to a boil. Remove from the heat and add the rest of the ingredients. Stir and try the milk, add more milk, turmeric, cinnamon or syrup if needed. You can also use a milk frother to get a better texture or blend the hot milk with the rest of the ingredients in a blender for that luxurious latte experience.
