11 Years of Eco Diva Natural – A Journey of Clean, Kind, Ethical Beauty
October 2025 marks a milestone that fills our hearts with joy and gratitude — Eco Diva Natural turns 11. Eleven years of unwavering dedication to clean, kind, ethical practices. Eleven years of environmental advocacy, animal rights, and pioneering a movement that places health, balance, and glow at the centre of beauty.
When we first began in 2014, the clean beauty landscape was almost non-existent. We were among the very few voices saying no to parabens, sulphates, synthetic preservatives, and toxic parfums — long before it was trendy to do so. We were educating people about how toxins in skincare not only damage the skin but can also disrupt the endocrine system, affect brain health, weaken the musculoskeletal system, and diminish happiness.
Fast forward to today, and the mainstream cosmetic giants are slowly trying to catch up, making small efforts to “clean up.” But we have fought the fight from day one — never wavering, never compromising. Our ethos has always been rooted in integrity: to create products that are good for the skin, safe for the body, kind to animals, and gentle on our planet.
And now, 11 years later, we are so proud to be more than a skincare brand. Eco Diva Natural is a holistic lifestyle — offering solutions for skin health, gut health, and mental/emotional health, because we know these three are the cornerstones of vibrant wellbeing, radiant skin, and a life lived in joy.
Our Journey: From Dream to Legacy
Let’s take a walk down memory lane, to some of the moments that have defined this journey:
- 2014 – Eco Diva Natural was officially born after years of formulation, inspired by Nicole Sherwin’s personal healing and transformation journey. Where it all began: We launched on SABC3’s Expresso Show, where Nicole was “The Cosmetic Chef,” teaching South Africans about the power of natural superfoods for skin and working with non-toxic ingredients for home cleaning, pet care, baby products, hair care and beauty.
- 2015–2017 – Expanded into partnerships with pioneering clean beauty retailers, including Faithful to Nature, who continue to share our vision of conscious, ethical living.
- 2018 – Eco Diva Natural went global, with worldwide shipping making our clean, kind beauty available to customers across the globe.
- 2020–2022 – We grew our offering beyond skincare to include the pHresh by Eco Diva Natural our multi-use cost-effective range and our 7 Mini Solution Sets focusing on pigmentation, acne, rosacea, psoriasis, eczema and premature ageing, plus our gut health solutions, honouring the deep connection between skin, body, and mind.
- 2023 – A golden year, where we won three Clean Beauty Awards from Woman & Home and Glamour Magazine, adding to our seven beauty awards to date.
- 2024 – We won four Clean Beauty Awards from Woman & Home and the international Beauty Shortlist Awards. We celebrated a decade of transformation and launched new innovations like the Superfood Foundation Cover Balms with SPF (makeup) and our Good Gut Glow Superfood Beauty Smoothie, changing lives with results-driven formulations.
- 2025 – Our proudest year yet. We re-invented our Mini Solution Sets based on feedback from our loyal customer into one smaller, more powerful Micro Minis Set for travel, as a starter set or for the perfect gifting. This one powerful set realigns all skin conditions and rebalanced the skin pH, for all skin types. We've streamlined our packaging, found a new fulfilment centre, created new eco-forward initiatives, onboarded new stockist partnerships, and a vibrant, growing online family who inspire us every single day. The year isn't over yet, so keep an eye out for new product launches and fingers crossed, maybe some new awards??
