When Life Moves, You Move With It
They say change is as good as a holiday. But I’m here to tell you that moving in the middle of winter, with the heavens raining down like a waterfall, tests even the most seasoned of change-makers.
And yet… here I am. Moved. Grounded. And gratefully still Glowing.
This past week, I experienced the full-force shake-up of relocating our business operations – all while staying calm, healthy, and strangely inspired. In the past, moves like this would flatten me: I’d collapse from stress, get sick, and spend weeks in bed with chronic fatigue. But this time was different. Why?
I chose radical self-care.
My Morning Self-Care Ritual (No Matter What’s Going On)
Change hits differently when your body and mind are nourished. Here’s what helped me stay calm, resilient, and clear-headed – even while lugging boxes in the rain.
1. Deep Breathing + Movement
Before the chaos began each day, I took just 20 minutes to re-oxygenate my cells and move my body. Whether it was a short yoga flow, bouncing on my rebounder, or a brisk walk—it rewired my nervous system for calm and confidence.
