There comes a point when you realise that the advice you give to others is the very advice you need to take yourself.
For years, I've spoken about the importance of balance, conscious living, choosing joy, and creating rituals that nourish not only our bodies but our minds and spirits too. Yet, like so many business owners, mothers, partners, caregivers and dreamers, I often find myself deeply rooted in my responsibilities and routines.
My sanctuary is here. It's my beloved fur children, Bugs and Ripley. It's my beautiful home. It's Eco Diva Natural. It's the garden, the familiar rhythms, the comfort of knowing exactly where everything belongs.
And yet, sometimes growth asks us to step outside of what is comfortable. So, with equal parts excitement and nervousness, I've decided to walk my talk and take a much-needed holiday in the sun.
For the next couple of weeks, ChannelOne becomes my compass. Adventure becomes the inspiration. Because there is something profoundly transformative about stepping into a different environment. A different culture. A different pace. A different way of seeing the world.
Travel has always been one of my greatest teachers.
It reminds me that there are countless ways to live, create, connect and experience joy. It gently loosens the grip of routine and makes space for fresh ideas, new perspectives and unexpected inspiration.
Sometimes we don't need more information. We simply need a change of scenery.
A different sunrise. A different language.
A different rhythm.
Travel has a beautiful way of rebooting the nervous system, rekindling creativity and re-energising the soul. It invites us to pause long enough to hear ourselves again.
To remember what lights us up. To reconnect with possibility. And perhaps most importantly, it reminds us that life is meant to be experienced, not just managed.
Of course, Eco Diva Natural doesn't stop while I'm away. One of the greatest joys of building a business is creating a team you trust, and our wonderful Eli and Dorothy will be lovingly packing and shipping your orders every Thursday over the next three weeks.
As for me, I'll still be very much involved behind the scenes. The reality is that there isn't really such a thing as an out-of-office response for a business owner. We keep moving, creating and connecting no matter where we are in the world. And honestly, that's one of the greatest gifts of building a business around freedom and purpose.
I'll be sharing snippets of the journey, the inspiration, the discoveries and, no doubt, a few adventures and general shenanigans along the way.
