It's the most wonderful time of the year...or is it? For some, the holidays can be a hectic and stressful time. There's the wrapping, the baking, the shopping, and so much more. But it doesn't have to be that way! One of the easiest ways to make this holiday season more enjoyable is to gift with intention. What do we mean by that? Keep reading to find out!

What is Conscious Gifting?
Conscious gifting means taking the time to really think about what the person you're buying for would love to receive. It's about putting thought into each and every gift, rather than just grabbing something off the shelf at the last minute. If you take a few extra minutes to consider each gift, you'll not only save yourself time and money in the long run, you'll also end up giving gifts that are more meaningful and appreciated. But how do you do that? Read on for our top tips.

3 Tips for Conscious Gifting
1. Make a List (and Check it twice!)
This may seem like a no-brainer, but it's important to sit down and make a list of everyone you need to buy gifts for before you start shopping. This will help you keep track of what you need to buy and who you've already bought for. Plus, it's a great way to ensure that you don't forget anyone! Once you have your list, take some time to brainstorm gift ideas for each person. This doesn't have to be an exhaustive list, but having a few ideas in mind will make shopping for each person much easier.
2. Shop Early (and Online)
One of the best ways to avoid holiday stress is to start your shopping early. This will help ensure that you don't have to deal with crowds at the mall or fight for parking spots at your local retail outlets. If possible, try to do as much of your shopping online as possible. Not only is online shopping convenient, it's also often cheaper than shopping in brick-and-mortar stores. And if you start early enough, you can take advantage of free shipping offers from many online retailers!
3. Think Outside the Box
When it comes to gift giving, it's easy to fall into the trap of giving traditional gifts like clothes or household items. But if you really want your gifts to stand out this year, try thinking outside the box! A unique experience or one-of-a-kind item will often be more appreciated than something that can be bought at any store. And when in doubt, think about what your recipient loves most and go from there! Chances are good that they'll appreciate any gift that caters to their interests and passions.
