What if your body isn’t working against you?
What if the shifts in your mood, energy, cycle and sense of wellbeing are not inconveniences to overcome, but messages asking to be heard?
Put the kettle on and join us for Episode 2 of SUNDaze Tea, a warm and deeply nourishing conversation with holistic hormone coach and trauma-informed somatic embodiment coach Kheyrne Danu.
Together, we explore hormones, nervous system healing and womb intelligence — and what becomes possible when we stop trying to control the body and begin cultivating a more compassionate relationship with it.
Your body is always communicating
Our hormones influence so much more than our monthly cycle. They move through our energy, emotions, sleep, skin, stress responses and overall sense of vitality.
Yet many women have become accustomed to dismissing the body’s signals or pushing through them.
In this episode, Kheyrne invites us to consider another way: slowing down enough to notice what the body is communicating and responding with curiosity rather than judgement.
Because healing is not always about doing more.
Sometimes, it begins with feeling safe enough to listen.
The nervous system beneath it all
We often speak about wellness in terms of food, movement, supplements and skincare. These can all be beautiful forms of support, but beneath them is something equally important: the state of the nervous system.
When we spend too much time bracing, rushing or living in survival mode, the body responds accordingly. Rest can feel difficult. Stillness can feel unfamiliar. Even receiving care can require practice.
Nervous system healing gently brings us back into relationship with ourselves. It is not about creating a perfectly calm life. It is about developing the capacity to meet life with greater steadiness, awareness and self-trust.
It is the practice of letting the body know: you are safe here.
What is womb intelligence?
Womb intelligence asks us to recognise the wisdom held within the body.
It is an invitation to reconnect with our cycles, sensations, intuition and emotional landscape — whether we menstruate, are moving through perimenopause or menopause, or simply long to feel more at home within ourselves.
For many women, this connection has been quietened by years of overriding, disconnecting or being told that the body is something to manage.
Kheyrne’s work offers another perspective: the body is not a problem to solve. It is a living source of information, memory and inner knowing.
When we learn to listen, we may discover that our bodies have been speaking to us all along.
